My Story
I'm Ingeborg – a Swedish abstract artist living outside Stockholm, close to the sea.
Even though I was brought up in the countryside, I always longed for the city – the pulse, the excitement, all the energy and possibilities.
So I moved – first to Stockholm, then to Paris. I’ve never regretted a single day. But after some years, I found my way back to nature.
Creativity has always been at the core of who I am – from studying fashion in Paris to working as a graphic and interior designer. But painting has always been my true home.
After many years of keeping my art on the sidelines, I took the leap in 2025 to paint full time. It feels like all my years of design experience have come together in one expression.

... a soulful seeker
... and yes, I’m a soulful seeker. When I discovered Vedic Art and trained with its founder Curt Källman in Sweden, I experienced for the first time how deep painting can go. To express feelings and thoughts without words – guided only by the heart – was like coming home.
Since then, painting has become a natural extension of my inner world – a joyful return to source. But art, to me, is not only about expression – it's also about creating spaces that heal.
In today’s fast-paced, noisy world, I truly believe we need homes that restore us.
Nature is my greatest source of inspiration – raw textures, stones, water, and the way light filters through leaves. These elements shape my visual language, where layers interact like the complexities of life itself.
.. the process and the meaning
I work intuitively and abstractly because I don’t want to define everything. I want to leave space – for emotion, for imagination, for you.
I often begin with a mood or a colour, letting textures and layers unfold into spaces that echo both the seen and the unseen.
Sometimes I sketch a composition, just to begin – but more often than not, the painting takes over, asking for something else entirely.
With my paintings, I hope to bring a sense of calm, presence, and beauty into your home – art that helps you unwind, recharge, and feel deeply at ease. I love paintings that reveal something new each time I look.
And while my work is soulful at heart, it’s also created to elevate modern, stylish interiors – adding a quiet strength, warmth, and harmony to any space. Sometimes, even becoming a true conversation piece.
That’s the energy I pour into every piece I create.
